Brandon's Halloween Party

Today Brandon had his first Halloween Party in Mrs. Taylor's Class.  I got a chance to go and help out with some of the games.  I love being able to go and enjoy Brandon having fun with his friends.  In this picture is some of his buddies. (left to right) Carson, Brandon, Robbie, and Jack.  I am so glad that he loves school.  Some of the games we did today in class were....Mummy Rapping, Mystery Buckets, Making Bats, Making Spiders out of ding dongs, and ball toss. Brandon told me today if I was mean to him, he was going to put me in jail! Sound like a vacation to me! Mommy's glad you had a great day baby! (Thanks Jana for the photo)

Brandon got his Yellow Belt

 HE DID IT!! Brandon passed his test today and got his yellow belt.  I can not tell you how proud I am of him...this sport takes lots of discipline.  He is such a different little boy since he has started Karate and its all because of Mr Hatch (in picture).  He so great with the kids and I can't thank him enough for teaching Brandon how to defend and not attack.  There is so much more to Karate than that...The Respect and Courage.  I don't know how Brandon gets in front of all those people and does his routines.  I know I would not be able to do so.

Mr Martinez (owner and 6th degree black belt) is giving Brandon his new Yellow Belt.  What a Honor that is!

Today we had 27 people testing to get their new belts.  These are just some of the people testing.  Not only kids are testing also adults.  Brandon was the youngest one to test to get his Yellow Belt.  He did an awesome job.  Mommy had a hard time during the test...she cried like a baby!  We practice really hard to get our tabs and belts.  Mommy has to know how to do each technique, each block, each kick, and each punch.  This sometimes gets overwhelming, but Brandon practices and practices like a champ.  He is so dedicated to Karate that one time he was so sick and throwing up, but he still went in to get his tab.  I was amazed and so proud to be his mother.  I love you more than words can say my litttle man!

Mom's 61st Birthday

 

Today is the Day...My Mom turns 61!!  We started the day out at Sizzler with the whole family.  In this picture is Brandon, Meghan, Mackenzie, Brian, Kim, Mom, and Dad.

We had such a great time spending the day with Grandma.  I don't know what we would do without her kindness and support.  She absolutely means the world to us and we love her very much.  I am just glad we all are so close and got to spend time together celebrating her birthday...HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!

Brandon's Soccer Game

 

Brandon got to play lots today...he is getting so good.  He is still scared to get in there and kick the ball, for the fear of hurting someone.  I can't believe how big my little boy is getting.

Grandma and Katie were Brandon's cheerleaders for the day.  Brandon was so happy that Papa and Nana went to his game.  It was so hot today and Papa stayed in the car to say cool, but he was close by to cheer his boy on!

A Day at Nana's

Today we went to Nana's house to get Brandon's hair cut.  Aunt Kimmy cut his hair and Brandon was pleased with the outcome.  He is going to look great tomorrow for his pictures at school.

Labor Day Weekend

 

Tonight we had the "Other Freeman's" over to spend Labor Day Weekend with us.  Here is Brandon and Katie getting ready for us to play Rock Band.  They are so stinking cute!

We had so much fun rocking the house until 9:30 p.m.  We can't wait to do it again!  Happy Labor Day.

Freeman's have Orders for Alaska

So we found out today that the "Other Freeman's" got orders for Alaska.  They will be heading out in February!!  This is a great move for Matt's career and we are wishing them all the best!  I am just sad because Inez has become a really good friend to me and Dave loves to hang out with Matt and worse of all...THEY ARE TAKING MY BOYS!!  Oh this is not good!!

Brandon's first Soccer Game!!

 

This is Brandon at "The Green Dragon's" first game.  So the story behind this big event, is that they had been calling Dave's cell phone for 3 weeks trying to get a hold of us.  Dave never checks his messages, but finally decided to check them and that's when we discovered that Kersten his coach had been calling us.  So Brandon had missed 2 practices and has never played before.  He has no idea how to play or what to do, but like the little champ that he is...went to play for the first time.

 

Run Brandon Run....Kick Brandon Kick.  So the funny thing about this was that Brandon actually made contact with the ball 3 times.  Once he got to kick the ball in, once he kicked the ball towards the other goal...lol, and the last time helped the opposite team make a goal.  WAY TO GO BRANDON!!!

 

Brandon 5, had the best cheerleader that day....Katie 18 months,  kept yelling...GO BA GO!  It was the cutest thing ever!  She loves her "Ba" so much!!!  Wow are they getting big or what??

It's game time!!

Tonight Dave's work, Neuton Interactive got tickets to the Bee's game.  We had 2 suites with lots of free food and drinks.  It was amazing!! Thanks again Shawn and Dan for a awesome time!

 

Here is my baby eating chocolate cake and watching the game.  He was so excited to be there!!  We went with the "Other Freeman's"... Matt, Inez, Gabe and Trystan. This was our first time going to the Bee's game and boy did we go in style or what?  Dan, Dave's boss made sure we had everything we could possible want at the game.  We couldn't ask for a better time!

Brandon's first day of school

Here is Brandon getting on the bus for the first time. I was so nervous putting him on the bus, with good reason. After school Brandon got off on the wrong stop and it took me half an hour to find him. Thanks to my wonderful neighbor Jana, who jumped in her car to help me find him! But after all of that...he still had a great first day!
